2020 Dodge Durango
The 2020 Dodge Durango looks to be yet another crowd-pleasing solid and reliable midsize SUV. First launched by Dodge in the 1998 model year, the three-row Durango is now in its third generation of production. Read on for a model guide to the 2020 Dodge Durango, including information on trim levels, performance, safety features, and interior design.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The first thing to note about the 2020 Dodge Durango is that it comes in nine available trim levels. Several of the trim levels feature minor variations on each other; for example, the difference between the SXT and SXT Plus is that the latter comes with an optional sunroof and different body color options.

The GT trim adds a performance front fascia, LED fog lamps, and 20-inch carbon aluminum wheels. The GT Plus has Durango dual stripes and an available performance hood. The flashier Citadel trim comes with 20-inch chrome aluminum wheels and a dual rear exhaust with bright tips.

The Durango R/T has 20-inch high-gloss black aluminum wheels; the Citadel Anodized Platinum trim has platinum chrome exterior accents. The SRT trim wraps up the trim levels with different wheel options being the major exterior difference.
Engine (Power)
The base engine of the 2020 Durango is a 3.6-liter V6 that outputs 293 horsepower. At the R/T trim level, the new Durango comes with a 5.7-liter V8 engine that improves the SUV's power output to 360 horsepower. The SRT trim level is where you'll find the most powerful engine?—a 6.4-liter V8 that outputs a whopping 475 horsepower.
Performance
If you opt for the SRT trim level and its 6.4-liter V8 engine, expect to zoom to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds and get a fuel economy rating of 13 mpg on city roads and 19 mpg on the highway. You'll also get 8,700 pounds of towing capacity.

The base 3.6-liter engine has a fuel economy rating of 19 mpg on city roads and 26 mpg on the highway and you'll get 6,200 pounds of towing power. The 5.7-liter V8 delivers 7,400 pounds of towing power and the fuel economy is 14 mpg on city roads and 22 mpg on the highway.
Interior
The spacious interior is available with a mind-boggling 50 seating configurations to ensure there is always sufficient space for your cargo or passengers. The 2020 Dodge Durango easily fits seven people and can be converted to fit much more cargo by using the 60/40 split-folding third-row.

Seven different seat fabrics ensure maximum personalized comfort. The UConnect in-car software provides all the modern technology you need for a seamless driving experience.
Safety Features
A strong and robust steel cage design helps keep passengers secure at all trim levels. Additional safety features include adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and electronic stability control. A smart braking system improves braking distance and provides extra clearance regardless of conditions.

The 2020 Dodge Durango builds on the previous model year and provides an excellent choice for anyone who needs a solid, all-rounder midsize SUV.
