The Ram 1500 is available in six trims: the Tradesman, Big Horn a.k.a. the Lone Star, the off-road Rebel, followed by the Laramie, Long Horn, and Limited. There are two body styles to choose from, a couple of bed-length options, four-engine configurations and two different drivetrain options. Many pickups feel uneasy maneuvering dips while cornering, however with the Ram's rear suspension and rear stabilizer bar it holds its own. </br> Noise is noticeably omitted from the cabin, particularly in higher trim levels. Even the reverberating V8 gives off only a soothing hum unless you decide to open it up. The Ram 1500 glides easily over varying road conditions without the rough ride common from other light-duty pickups. The front seats are ergonomically shaped to provide comfort and support even during long-distance journeys. Even the rear bench has a comfortable backrest angle, and in higher trims, it even reclines a pleasantly surprising amount. We also like the Ram 1500's user-friendly climate control system.

The interior of the 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 interior is very comfortable and maintains comfort even while sitting for a long amount of time. The Ram is designed with wide door openings, and the spacious rear legroom giving plenty of foot clearance while climbing into the backseat area. All four doors have their substantial and well-positioned stabilizing handles. For the driver, there are easy-to-reach controls and a wide view of the road.

There are important safety features that come standard. A forward-collision warning system anticipates and warns the driver of any danger. Blind-spot monitoring also alerts the driver when a vehicle has entered a blind spot and this feature even extends its range while towing a trailer. Lane Departure Warning Plus is a useful tool to help the driver stay in their lane.
