It isn't uncommon to drift into another lane. The LaneSense Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist measures the Renegade's position inside the boundaries of the driving lane. If the Jeep drifts outside the lane, the system alerts you and helps correct the Jeep back within the lane's boundaries. Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking does just what the name implies. While driving, if the system senses the possibility of a frontal impact, the driver is alerted to make an adjustment. If no adjustment is made and the system still senses an impact, the active braking system takes over and automatically halts the Jeep. 5. Additional Features A few of the additional features that provide a safe and secure ride include rain-sensing windshield wipers, which automatically regulate the speed of the wipers to match the current rain conditions. Automatic High Beam Headlamps provide a clear path of the road ahead providing the right amount of illumination whenever it's needed.
