For 2019, Ram has debuted an all-new line of trucks. From the light-duty 1500 to the heavy-duty 2500 and above, the new trucks combine the convenient features you remember from the last model with the kind of features and technology you can only get on a completely new design. Like before, the 2019 Ram 2500 and 3500 come in several trims with the Laramie Longhorn sitting near the top. Most of the features available on a new 2019 Ram come on the Laramie Longhorn, including everything on this list. more The RamBox Cargo Management System The popular RamBoxes make their return on the heavy-duty 2019 Ram 2500, and like before they're an optional addition to the Laramie Longhorn trim. These boxes add extra functionality to your cargo bed by building a pair of containers into the sides, and these containers are waterproof and durable enough to use for carrying garden tools or enough beer for a tailgate party. New for 2019 is a 115-volt power outlet, so now you can plug in your power tools and use them immediately. Full Leather Seats You won't see these on the competition. Both the Laramie Longhorn and Limited trims of the Ram 2500 come with full-leather seats, which means both the front and back rows enjoy real leather on every surface. The Laramie Longhorn adds style to this by using a natural Mountain Brown for the interior color and adding Western-themed embroidery and textures to the leather. It even comes with a Laramie Longhorn Edition badge right in the middle of the two front seats and on the box in the center console. Incredible Towing Power For 2019 the engineers at Ram have reinforced the rear axle crossmember so it can better handle the heavy weight of a gooseneck or fifth-wheel hitch. Paired with the available diesel engine, the new Ram 2500 can tow up to 17,390 pounds with a fifth wheel or 19,780 pounds using a gooseneck hitch. The Ram 3500 does even better thanks to dual rear tires, and with the proper equipment and a diesel engine, it can haul up to 35,100 pounds. That's nearly double what the 2500 can offer. A 12-Inch Touch Screen The 2019 Ram 2500 and 3500 take things a step farther with a 12-inch touch screen available for the Laramie Longhorn and Limited trims. This vertical screen fills up a big part of your center console, and while the bottom half displays climate controls, most of the time, the big display lets you customize the controls or let the navigation system fill up the screen and make it easy to read. The big display also helps you use the available 360 Surround View Camera for parking or lining up with your trailer. The all-new 2019 Ram 2500 and 3500 heavy-duty pickup trucks are just about the best options on the market today. York is a city in southeast Pennsylvania, and while it might not be the state's biggest city, it's one of the oldest around. Recently, Downtown York, Inc. has come up with a new branding idea: "Historically Edgy." The idea for this new marketing campaign is the fact that York has a long history of pushing boundaries and pushing buttons: the Articles of Confederation, the rough draft of the U.S. Constitution, came into being in York, Pennsylvania. These days, downtown York has attracted some new businesses that are pushing the envelope again, so "Historically Edgy" York is both new and old. more See the Beginnings at the Colonial Complex The Colonial Complex is a set of reconstructed 18th-century buildings right by the Market Street bridge and the Heritage Rail Trail. The complex includes the Golden Plough Tavern, an upper-class home, and the colonial courthouse where the Second Continental Congress met and drafted the Articles of Confederation. The fourth and final building is the Barnett Bob Log House, and during the open season artisans use it to show off their skills in hands-on demonstrations. Tickets for a tour are $15 or $7 for students, and that also gets you into all the other York County museums for the day. Enjoy a Locally Brewed Drink One way downtown York is part of the leading edge today is by offering a lot of quality craft brews. A national brand will get you tipsy without challenging you, but a craft brew can deliver a quality alcoholic drink that really explores the different flavors you can get from a little barley, hops, and yeast. Just within the downtown area you can find Liquid Hero Brewery, the Mudhook Brewing Company, the Gift Horse Brewing Company, and Collusion Tap Works. For a few extra flavors, you can visit Holy Hound Taproom and its 30 rotating craft brew taps. Find Some Interesting Art Pieces Downtown York has a lot of art on display, both in public spaces and in several galleries. You can find much of the public art in York along Market Street or just off on one of the side streets, like the metal flowers with gear petals in Foundry Plaza and several murals covering dozens of otherwise blank brick walls. If you'd like to see some indoor artwork, try visiting the Marketview Arts gallery on West Philadelphia Street. Then there's the King's Courtyard Artists' Collective, a place where local artists meet, create their works, and sell them to interested buyers. "Historically Edgy" combines the two main reasons people have to visit downtown York, Pennsylvania. The district has historical museums and old buildings that date back to the Revolution, and a lot of the businesses in the district still use buildings that first went up over a century ago. At the same time, the district saw the birth of the first American government and still isn't afraid to try something new. Every year, Autotrader hands out awards for the best certified pre-owned vehicles that are made within the past five years or so. This year, Autotrader has handed out awards to three Chrysler Group vehicles: the Jeep Wrangler, the Ram 1500, and the Chrysler Pacifica. So what is it about these vehicles that made the judges take notice, and why are they such a good value? The Requirements First of all, it's important to understand how Autotrader judges the vehicles on its list, beginning with the price tag. A certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicle can't cost more than $40,000 for regular cars and $65,000 for luxury cars, and it must have a strong warranty. After all, warranty coverage is one of the biggest reasons why you would want a CPO vehicle over a regular used car. more Something else to note is that Autotrader doesn't use categories for this award. Three trucks and two midsize sedans made the list, so it's strictly about which models are best. Jeep Wrangler (2013-2017) In 2018 the Jeep Wrangler got an all-new design, and when a car enters a new generation it helps drive down the price of the older models. In this case the new Wrangler brought some important improvements to the off-road SUV, but you can still find plenty to love about the CPO Wrangler vehicles. They still come with the unique Wrangler features like removable doors and a removable roof, and you can wash the floors with a garden hose thanks to the hidden drains. Old Wranglers are also all Trail Rated and come standard with four-wheel drive. Ram 1500 (2015-2018) Ram trucks are another vehicle that got a new redesign in 2019. New models come with interesting new features like a light hybrid engine, but older models can come with options that include RamBoxes conveniently built into the sides of the bed, an adjustable rear suspension that lets you keep the bed level when it's loaded, and one of the only diesel engines in the light-duty class. Autotrader was also impressed by the warranty coverage, which includes up to 7 years or 100,000 miles of powertrain coverage. Chrysler Pacifica (2017-2018) The Chrysler Pacifica made Autotrader's luxury CPO list, although the Chrysler brand is considered more upscale than luxury. Still, it takes more than a relatively low price to reach the top 10. The Chrysler Pacifica is a new design that replaces the old Town and Country, but despite having no major design refreshes yet, the Chrysler Pacifica earned a place on the list thanks to clever features like the Stow 'n Go seats, the available Stow 'n Vac vacuum cleaner, the premium backseat entertainment system, and the same 7-year warranty as the Ram 1500. The Jeep Wrangler, Ram 1500, and Chrysler Pacifica all represent the kind of quality you can expect from FCA US vehicles. Not only do they offer great options and many of the modern features you'll find in new cars, you can also expect value and durability from used and certified pre-owned vehicles.
