Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day. After a good night’s rest, breakfast gives you that energy to seize the day. In Red Lion, PA, we’re big believers in breakfast. We have numerous local restaurants to prove our dedication to this first meal of the day. These are samples of just three of our best breakfast places to eat.

Lion’s Pride

Lion’s has been a local hangout for many years. The friendly atmosphere, unpretentious decor, and excellent food have made it a go-to breakfast place. If you’re new in town, visit them for breakfast, and you’ll have many new friends when you leave. Their menu features a mix of light and heavier breakfast choices. Whether you need a quick snack or a full-blown meal, they’ve got something for you.

There are over fourteen breakfast egg favorites, together with omelets, breakfast sandwiches, and special choices for seniors and junior breakfast eaters. When we’re hungry, we enjoy the lion’s scrambler consisting of three scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, onions, tomatoes, and two pancakes. After a meal like this, you’re ready to conquer the day! Lion’s is located at 20 Dairyland Square.

Boardwalks

Boardwalks is just over 10.5 miles northwest of us at 3608 E. Market Street, York. They opened in 2017 and have become famous for their breakfast. When you’re in the area and your stomach starts rumbling, head into this cozy beachfront-themed establishment. Service is fast and friendly, and you’re made to feel at home from the moment you walk in. They have an extensive menu, including nine different omelets and a huge variety of add-ons to go with your breakfast eggs.

Their range of crepes is amazing too, with our personal favorite being the crab crepe made with crab and cream cheese, then topped with Old Bay seasoning. If you fancy a sweeter crepe, the banana crepe with whipped cream and marshmallow sauce is divine. We also really like the crab cake Benedict, with a freshly-made crab cake, egg, and hollandaise sauce on an English muffin, with hashbrowns on the side.

Janinas Fine Desserts

Don’t let the name fool you, Janina’s makes incredible desserts, but they also have a cafe that serves delicious light breakfasts. If you feel like something sweet for breakfast, this is the place to visit. We love their brioche French toast, with Janina’s special brioche of citrus batter topped with powdered sugar and maple syrup on the side.

Other great breakfast options include their ever-popular breakfast bowl with turkey or bacon, seasonal greens, roasted potatoes, tomato, onion, cheddar cheese, and sprinkled with parmesan cheese and Midnight Mango sauce. After a breakfast like this, you’re ready for anything the day has to throw at you.

Replete with breakfast, come in and take a test drive with us at Thornton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. We’re a family-owned and operated dealership that’s been a part of the Red Lion community for more than 25 years.
