3. Bonham House

Horace Bonham, his wife Rebekah, and their four daughters lived in the beautiful Bonham house for almost 100 years, from 1875 to 1965. He was a lawyer passionate about painting portraits, landscapes, and genre scenes. Elizabeth Bonham, affectionately known as Bessie, Horace and Rebekah’s second child, lived in the house until she died in 1965.

Bessie willed the three-story house, including the contents, to the York County Heritage Trust. The family’s antique furniture and decor pieces give visitors a unique glimpse into the lives of the Bonham family and the people of the period from the 1850s to the 1930s.

4. The Amish Village
