Fiat Chrysler Automobiles knows a thing or two about minivans, as it has been manufacturing them since the 1980s. Now celebrating 35 years of the minivan, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has created special 35th anniversary editions of the Chrysler Pacifica, Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, and the Dodge Grand Caravan. The 35th anniversary models will be available in summer 2019 and will feature unique upgrades and enhancements.
Chrysler Pacifica
The Chrysler Pacifica is an incredibly popular minivan, and it’s easy to see why. The Pacifica boasts a cozy interior, up-to-date technology, and an abundance of safety features. The 35th Anniversary edition of the Chrysler Pacifica features numerous exterior and interior upgrades. These aesthetic design enhancements include new badging, a black interior with accent stitching, and depending on trim level, advanced technology.
Specifically, the Pacifica Touring L comes equipped with a memory driver’s seat, eight-passenger seating, a rear DVD player, and 18-inch wheels. Higher-level trims include a dual-pane sunroof and 20-inch wheels. Multiple add-on packages are available for complete customization of the Pacifica.
Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid
A minivan in high demand, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid comes equipped with a spacious interior, modern technology, and advanced safety features. For 2019, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid 35th anniversary models will feature a host of additional enhancements, depending on chosen trim level.
The Pacifica Hybrid Touring L trim level includes a 13-speaker audio system, an 8.4-inch information and entertainment system with UConnect software and navigation, and 17-inch wheels. Similarly, the Pacifica Hybrid Limited features the same upgrades as the Hybrid Touring L but adds 18-inch wheels.
An optional appearance package is available for all Chrysler Pacifica Hybrids, which gives the 35th anniversary edition of the vehicle a more stylish and attractive look.
Dodge Grand Caravan
The Dodge Grand Caravan also gets a makeover in its unique 35th anniversary editions. The Grand Caravan still comes equipped with all the interior, technology, and safety features you know and love, but the 35th anniversary edition will include extra features to make this minivan stand out in a crowd. These one-of-a-kind 35th anniversary models will sport 17-inch wheels, a 35th Anniversary badge, and a shiny grille.
Enhancements vary by trim level, and there are also supplemental packages available so you can customize the Grand Caravan as you see fit. The Grand Caravan SE will feature the famous Stow ‘N Go system, bucket seats in the second row, and a power driver’s seat. Upper-level trims will include a navigation system, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and window shades for the second row of seats.
