Now you'll be able to adjust important vehicle features, such as the throttle, stability, shift points, among other options. A Rugged Exterior The Rebel TRX is rumored to have an aggressive look on the road, with dual exhaust tips that are blacked out for a powerful look, tow hooks, LED brake lights, a large hood with marker lights embedded into it, and impressively large 37-inch tires. The proposed front grille and width of the truck will make it a force to be reckoned with. more Powerful Engine Options The Ram 1500 was first introduced in 1993, so this new launch marks nearly 30 years of greatness with these pickups. The performance on 1500 trucks is always impressive, but experts are anticipating that the TRX will be Ram's most powerful pickup yet from the 1500 line. The Hellcat engine, previously used in the Dodge Challenger, is a 6.2L supercharged V-8 HEMI that generates 575 horsepower, and rumors say that the new TRX will have the same. There are other speculations that the TRX won't have the same engine as the 2016 concept. Instead, it's believed that the TRX will offer up an 8HP90 automatic transmission that generates 707 horsepower. Only time will tell which option will be standard or if there will be an available option for drivers who want the most amount of power they can have. Off-Roading Ability The off-roading ability on the 2021 Ram Rebel TRX is expected to be pretty solid, with selectable modes to choose from, including mud, snow, and sand, as well as a locking differential so you can experience optimum control over how your truck handles the terrain. The rear locker allows for both wheels to become locked together so they can also turn in unison, making for expert steering with any level of available traction. The York Fair will once again delight visitors this year, but this time with a brand-new name and dates for 2020. The York County Agricultural Society board of directors has moved the fair from its usual slot in September to take place from July 24 to August 2, 2020, and has changed the name to York State Fair. These changes are based on the size and scope of the fair and accessibility to families and vendors. The York State Fair is considered to be "America's First Fair" and has a rich history dating all the way back to 1765. The Fair in War Time The York State Fair was established prior to the official founding of America in 1776 and has withstood the stress of multiple national and international wars during its 255 years in existence. During the American Civil War, the Fair was forced to close for several years. The property was used as a hospital ground to care for wounded Union soldiers. The fair was underway during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and remained open as a symbol of pride in American culture and history. more The Fair's Expansion The York County Agricultural Society, which continues to operate the fair today, was founded in 1853, with the intent to expand the fair and its property. In 1856, the fair moved from the town commons to a seven-acre property on the east side of the city. After the Civil War ended, the Agricultural Society decided to, once again, expand and move the property. In 1888, they purchased the 73-acre property that remains the home of the York State Fair today. During the 1920s, a grandstand was built and the fair was expanded to include evening hours and weekends. Over the years, buildings such as Memorial Hall, Horticulture Hall, and the Banquet Center were constructed for year-round usage and rented to the public throughout the year. In 2003, the York Expo Center was built and became the home for major events such as the Grand Ole Opry, political rallies, and various conventions. The Fair's Evolution The York State Fair originally began as a two-day celebration of agriculture and has evolved into a flourishing celebration of agriculture, American history, food, recreation, and entertainment. However, this powertrain will not feature an all-wheel-drive option. 4. Latest In Technology The 2021 Pacifica offers the latest and greatest in technological innovation. This model will be the first Chrysler to feature the Uconnect 5 infotainment system that can apparently process information five times faster. The system boasts a 10.1-inch touch screen and allows for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Other technological innovations included with the Pacifica is the FamCAM video system, allowing front passengers to keep an eye on the second row. The system also allows the driver or front passenger to zoom in on rear-facing infant seats. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has been lagging behind in the fast-developing electric and autonomous vehicle segments. However, according to the automaker's new global powertrain chief, Micky Bly, this is about to change, as FCA is set on repositioning itself in this space over the next few years. FCA and Electrification: The Past FCA has not completely steered away from battery-powered vehicles over the years. When the Fiat 500e was released back in 2013, however, former FCA CEO, Sergio Marchionne, made a tongue-in-cheek request to potential clients to not buy the 500e as it cost more to produce than the automaker could sell it for. Sadly, the 500e didn't sell. In the subsequent years, FCA rolled out two-hybrid systems: the Pacifica Hybrid, which is a plug-in, and the Jeep Wrangler, which features a mild 48-volt hybrid system. According to FCA, these vehicles mark the beginning of a whole range of hybrid and electric options that it will be developing and releasing over the next few years. more Tough new governmental regulations in China and Europe have already started to affect a definite move toward EVs, and although things aren't that strict in the U.S. yet, FCA predicts that even in this market they will have to start focusing on battery-based drivetrains. Moving Forward FCA has implemented many steps over the last few years that mark their increasing commitment to repositioning themselves in the EV and automation segments. A few of these include: Shortly before his death, Marchionne stated that FCA will invest more than $10 billion in electrification. His successor, Michael Manley, brought in Bly, who has been working in the plug-in hybrid and EV segments since 2006, as powertrain engineer. According to Bly, his main focus over the next three to five years will be on developing an electrification strategy for FCA. Recently, FCA announced its merger with Peugeot, which has resulted in the world's fourth-largest automaker. According to these two companies, the merger will result in annual cost savings of over $4.1 billion. This money will allow them to invest in electrification and potentially become world leaders in the autonomous and all-electric vehicle segments. According to The Verge, FCA is in discussions with two EV companies, namely Faraday Future and Seres, and may secure its electric powertrains from either or both of these for future models. What Vehicles Will We See On the Market? Despite the fact that the Fiat 500e has not fared well, FCA is releasing a new iteration that's likely to hit the market sometime this year. The design of the new 500e will apparently be based on a completely new platform, which should make for improved range, performance, and handling. Alfa Romeo is also set to add a whole bevy of electric powertrains to its lineup. The new Alfa 8C supercar, for instance, which is due to be released early next year, will be a plug-in hybrid. And according to hints dropped by FCA insiders, even the Dodge Hellcat models might be sporting a mild-hybrid drivetrain soon.
